Bridgestone Arena; Nashville, TN

Food - 7/10

Food was a little on the pricey side even for stadium food. However, they made up for it with a lot of concession stands throughout the concourse which allowed the lines to very short. Could easily leave your seat and be back with a lot of time to spare during one of the intermissions.

Atmosphere - 8/10

This was my first ever hockey game and I was thoroughly impressed. The Preds won 6-2 over the Wild. There was never a dull moment in the game at all. There was a crazy intro with a light show and graphics on the ice. The beloved catfish throw, of course. Game started off with a fight as well which I and the rest of the crowd enjoyed. The crowd was awesome too, very attentive and cheerful and packed the seats even during a relatively bad year for the Preds.

Stadium - 8/10

I really enjoyed the location of Bridgestone. Right in the middle of Broadway in Nashville. Tucked away just enough off the road to let you see the cool exterior of it. On the inside, really clean and bright. Easy to navigate as well. Comfortable seats and a great view to go with it.

City -8/10

I feel like its hard to have a bad time in Nashville. I will say that it does get very crowded at night on Broadway and can be difficult getting an Uber or Lyft if you need one. You could spend all day going into all of the different bars, restaurants, and shops in and around the stadium. Everyone I ran into was super nice and welcoming, would definitely recommend going even if there wasn’t a game going on.

Overall - 8/10

A great experience for my first ever hockey game. Fun city, great experience, and hockey is definitely more fun to watch in person than on TV.
