Season is finally starting to heat up with some pretty unexpected results in games. First, Georgia is the best team in the nation right now. It was definitely a losable game vs Bama but they took the game over in the second half and in crucial periods. Miami looks dominant, same as last week. Ohio St slides up just over Alabama. Both have similar enough losses, bama probably has a better resume, but Ohio St looks just slightly better right now. Indiana wins a close over Nebraska, which follows a close one over Northwestern. Wins are wins I guess. Notre Dame I am still just not impressed with, maybe they can change that vs BYU this week. Texas loses an awful offensive team… Oklahoma needs 2 defensive touchdowns to win. Just can’t do it when you have already looked unimpressive. BYU, opinion unchanged, meets Notre Dame this weekend. Ole Miss thrashes Vandy. Mizzou thrashes Texas A&M, exciting matchup brewing between them. Utah keeps humming, Mississippi St gets a bye week to get healthy so no move there. UCLA gets a huge road win over Oregon in a game that featured 4 quarterbacks and 10 turnovers, sucks they lose Nico likely for the year. Iowa goes on the road and gets a very impressive win over a solid Washington team. Kentucky wins again in OT on a 2 point conversion. have looked good basically all year except against 2nd half bama. USC wins the Penn St whiteout game, just too inconsistent, would not surprised if this is their ceiling. Arizona again looks impressive, just missing a comparative win to USC or Texas Tech that is keeping them behind. Boise St stands pat. Welcome to the NMP for the first time ever Wake Forest! Wake dominates again, similar to Arizona, they are just missing a big win to hang their hat on right now. Oklahoma St has the big win, which is now looking worse, but also the awful loss. They need another couple performances to prove to me that the Tulsa game was a fluke. Nebraska actually moves up with a loss, they looked very solid and competitive vs Indiana, just had it slip out of their hands at the end. LSU takes another loss, this time to Kentucky, I would’ve thought they would be gelling better by now but they aren’t and its costing them. Northwestern plays a gimme game vs Ball St so nothing gained there so they stay put.
